My production team

For this years media coursework I decided to work together in a group with Jake and Afsana. We all have different preferences when it comes to music, however we work well together due to the fact that we all have strengths in different things. Putting them together will benefit each member and we will be able to produce a good piece of work.

I like listening to all kinds of music. Mainly Heavy Metal, Death Metal and Rock. However I also really like EDM and Trap music. My favourite artist is Marilyn Manson. Jake also listens to a wide range of music from different genres however he prefers rap and pop. Afsana listens to RnB and pop music, occasionally listening to rap. The group has a diverse taste and we can each contribute our views and ideas into the groups choice of video and song.

Parody: Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Dani California

This music video is full of parodies of iconic bands throughout the history of rock music. At the end they also show their own performance with their style. Doing a music video like this can be done for comedic purposes and entertain the viewers. In a way it also builds a connection between the fans of those old bands and their band. However some people may see it as them making fun of those bands rather than paying tribute.

Welcome!

My name is Beata Rumian and this is my A2 Media blog. I will be making a promotional package for a new band and producing a music video for one of their songs. On this blog I will be recording all my progress in the form of blog posts. I will label the blog posts and organise them into sections as I complete my research, plan, contrast and evaluation.

Over the past year of my AS course I have learnt a lot of new skills and I am confident in saying that my next years work will be even better than what I have done last year.
